AD-1308 manual 21.8 megs (part number 595-3008-1) AD-1308 illustrations 3.85 megs (part number 595-3008-1) AD-1308 schematic 1 meg (part number 595-3008) I have the 595-3008-1 but it came from Heathkit with many errors. This schematic the pin #s are correct but the IC letter designations do not match technical data.

When getting a Heathkit IM-11 VTVM, this model quite often comes without a probe.
Although very simple in design, this (passive) probe contains a 1 Megohm resistor
that is active with DC measurements only (see picture).
So, if the probe needs to be replaced with parts from the box, this resistor
shall be taken into consideration.


Der IM-11 Tastkopf (eigentlich nur eine passive Tastspitze) enthält einen
1 Megohm Widerstand, der nur bei Gleichspannungs-Messungen wirksam ist.
Falls als Ersatz für eine fehlende Tastspitze gebastelt werden muß, ist
dieser Widerstand zu berücksichtigen.

Als mein Vater vor kurzem ein Heathkit Röhrenvoltmeter IM-11 zur Reparatur öffnete, kamen ihm zwei Ersatztypen der originalen 6AL5 und 12AU7 in Form von zwei Metallhülsen mit 7-poligem Sockel entgegen. Die Typenbezeichnung ist TR1002 für die 12AU7 und TR1119 für die 6AL5. Neben dem reinen Ersatz mußte das Gerät wohl auch elektrisch etwas abgeändert werden (siehe Solid state replacement).
Hat jemand eine Ahnung wer diese Teile hergestellt hat und was genau deren Inhalt ist? Da sie sich nicht erwärmen gehe ich davon aus dass es sich um Halbleiter handelt.

diese teile sind mir bekannt. Es sind sogenannte HINs, halbleiterbestückte 'Ersatzröhren' der Western Electric. Diese wurden ursprünglich als Ersatz für Telekommunikationsverstärkerröhren entwickelt. Der Vorteil dieser Teile war der geringere Stromverbrauch durch Wegfall der Heizung.

bei Gelegenheit kopiere ich den Schaltplan, der eine PL86 durch einen Hochvolttransistor ersetzt.
Momentan leider keinen Zugriff, komme aber unaufgefordert darauf zurück.

Hat jemand zu diesem Röhrenvoltmeter eine Abgleichanleitung? Vor allem interessiert mich, die Einstellvorschrift für das AC balance Poti. Da diese Geräte als Bausatz vertrieben worden sind, müßte eigentlich eine Aufbauanleitung existieren, die auch das Kapitel Abgleich abdeckt.

leider habe ich keine Abgleichanleitung, aber aus der Schaltung ergibt sich, das mit AC-BAL die Vorspannung der Gleichricherröhre für den AC Bereich eingestellt wird.
Diese sollte üblicherweise bei kurzgeschlossenem Eingang im empfindlichsten AC-Bereich auf Null am
Anzeigeinstrument abgeglichen werden. ( vorher bitte bei ausgeschaltetem Gerät mech Null am Instrument selbst kontrollieren, Gerät einschalten und warmlaufen lassen, im höchsten AC Bereich mit Zero Adjust an der Frontplatte erneut auf Null einstellen. )
